One of Australia's busiest, longest working and beloved roadies died in June. Condolences to his wife and 2 kids.
They have decided to sell his vast and extraordinary collection of rock memorabilia collected during a career spanning from 1968 to 2003. He worked with nearly every big Australia artist and many overseas acts who loved and respected him eg. The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton, The Beach Boys, Neil Young, The Pretenders and all sorts of acts including Frank Sinatra, Long Way to the Top tour last year and his last job was with the Riverdance show.

Some of the items for sale include.his personal favourite,
a guitar signed by The Eagles ( there are several guitars).
A set of rare Beatles dolls in perfect condition and the microphones they used at their melbourne concert in 1964.
Concert poster featuring Sammy Davis Jr, Liza Minelli and Frank Sinatra, signed by them all.
A Zippo lighter inscribed as a gift from Frank Sinatra
Angus Young's velvet schoolboy jacket and his boxer shorts that have the Aussie flag on them.
A rare program from the original Wood stock concert.

the list goes on, tickets and posters galore from a long career

if only eh? Oh to be there AND to have some spare $$$. There is a web site, but I've just realised you have to register there to view the catalogue. If anyone here is a collector, they may want to check it out. www.bonhamsandgoodman.com.au

I didn't really know about Wayne Jarvis , known to his friends as Swampy Marsh:) but he was respected by all who worked with him and was an important part of our wonderful show business.
RIP old mate.
