Had a wonderful weekend of all things rock. Caught Wilco in Latrobe, Pa Friday night, then Saturday a friend and I went to the opening of Revolution Rock: The Story of the Clash at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame . If you're a fan and you get the chance, go!

Lots of great stuff there: newspaper clippings from Joe's scrapbook of the 101ers and early Clash gigs, handwriten lyrics, setlists, instruments, amps, clothes, everything. Clash videos are aired on one end and Westway to the World is playing on the other.

Somehow I missed that Mick Jones was speaking at the Rock Hall later in the afternoon. Tickets were cheap, and of course, by the time I discovered this last week, were all sold out...

 seconded! lol. Anyone know when this exhibition closes? (edit: nevermind I should read links!!)

In case you didn't know, Paul is in a new band with Damon Albarn, Guitarist of the verve Simon Tong and Fella Kuti drummer Tony Allen called "The Good The Bad and The Queen". They've had a live gig of all their new songs a few days ago, too. I'd give anything to see Paul on stage again.

Here's their official site:

and a couple of videos from the gig.
