"Can I get a courtesy flush here?"

"Allow myself to introduce...myself."

Dr. Evil's monologue at the father-son therapy session is one of my favorites of all-time.

"I really think he wants to kill me"

"Now Scott, we don't want to kill each other in here...we might say that we do sometimes but we really don't"

"Actually the boy's quite astute I really am trying to kill him but so far unsuccessfully, he's quite wily like his old man."

The Devil Wears Prada -

Never thought I'd watch it, but I did.

Better than expected. I love Stanley Tucci, no matter the role, so that was good. The dude from Entourage is annoying as ever. Streep, I thought, was great. There's my really brief review.

My mother-in-law invited herself to stay at my house after Christmas dinner for a few hours to watch it, since she didn't have HBO, nor does she have a DVD player (We'd seen it before)

Yes, I liked it. Streep is always great

Atonement - 8/10

I absolutely LOVED the book and was very pleased to see that the film did it justice. Beautifully shot, great chemistry between James McAvoy and Keira Knightley; Saoirse Ronan, the girl who plays young Briony, was easily the standout performance - chillingly perfect in fact. Having read the book I knew the ending beforehand and still felt gutted.

Hah! I just remembered where I've first seen James McAvoy - as a fawn in Narnia,

No kidding! When I saw Narnia my friend and I kept saying "the faun is hot!" Now I know why.

You guys need to stop fawning over McAvoy.

See what I did there?

You'll be pleased to hear I think he looks completely underfed.

I just finished North by Northwest and really loved it. It's still a little too early to tell where it stacks with Vertigo, Rear Window, and Psycho as of yet, but was damn entertaining and fun.

The bidding scene may have been my favorite.

That's the only Hitchcock film I own, as it's my favorite. I need to buy a few more, though. Shame on me. A pox on my own house.

I can't even pretend to be annoyed. I can't.

Vertigo, so far, is my favorite.
