Revealed - The Man Behind Elmo

Revealed for the first time ever on Oprah today-yes I know you were all dying to know

This is the first time Muppeteer Kevin Clash has appeared with Elmo!

Kevin says he became the voice of Elmo after another Muppeteer turned down the opportunity. "He didn't like it," Kevin says. "It was too cutesy for him."

If you're surprised by the big guy behind the little voice, you're not alone. "It's wild," Kevin says. "[People] expect me to be a little, short bald-headed guy with glasses."

I saw that years ago, on a PBS special.

My mom never believed me that Elmo was a man's voice.

Yep! It was a while back, some behind the scenes thing, where he said his daughter would always want him to go get Elmo for her.

I would have thought that Oprah would have given him more than 2 minutes after spending 20 minutes + with that chick from Jimmy Choo shoes...

Mrs. Barbie is a 50-year old white female with average looks, was probably a looker in her time...

Wait!!! the chick from Jimmy Choo brought Oprah some shoes; the Barbie maker brought her a one of a kind Oprah Barbie doll..

Elmo didn't bring her anything,,,no face time...

I watched it today - the Barbie doll was very cool. And Elmo didn't get much time, but it was a good segment.
