Remember Syd Barrett

It’s a day late but I think it is important to remember Syd Barrett. Lost in the Live Earth concerts was the anniversary of his death. In a day where we were all suppose to stop and think about the entire world, we forget about each individual. In the end it is every one of us that really counts. Syd people encompassed the beauty and awe of an individual. He was like no one else when it came to his art and his life. His mind was beautiful and should never be forgotten. He also encompassed the bond of friendship in his relationship with Roger Waters and the art that came from that friendship. Syd was a butterfly whose head from the clouds, called him higher and higher. He was always meant for something greater than this place. No one has ever seen the world like Syd did nor will anyone ever again. I thought it was important that no one forget Syd Barrett, his life and his death. In a moment when we should think about the world as a whole, take a little time out to remember and appreciate his wonder and art.
