2005 was a full year of big releases, Coldplay, Madonna, Depeche Mode, Robbie Williams, Audioslave, even Rolling Stones and many more. So, for which 2006 release are you looking forward??

Mine: Red Hot Chili Peppers

Radiohead is the only thing that really comes to mind right away.

Well, yeah, RHCP too

The Church's Uninvited, Like The Clouds

now due out in Feb or March. It was originally due out in late winter or early spring of last year but there have been various delays. Hard to know it's finished and ready to go, but unavailable.

Isidore might have an album out -- looking very forward to that.

and there is a project called Memesis (I think that is the spelling) that I am also looking forward to, even though I have little solid info on it.

New albums from: Morrissey, Pearl Jam, The Cure and Radiohead.

Don't know for sure if these will be out this year or next: U2, R.E.M. and Nine Inch Nails.

i thought the strokes had leaked already?

in fact, i'm 99.9 per cent sure it has.

radiohead, definitely. a while ago they said they'd put something out by march, but that's obviously not gonna happen.

going back to finish things up in february, i believe is what i heard.

other than radiohead, i'm not sure what else. arcade fire perhaps?

Radiohead
The Shins
Grandaddy
The Arcade Fire
U2 (although it is 99% ridiculous to do so, I am holding out hope)

I think both Snow Patrol and Embrace are releasing new albums this year
I enjoyed Final Straw, so Im looking forward to Snow Patrol's new album.
And of course, the new U2 album if it happens (highly unlikely).

Are they bringing out an album this year then?

Been getting into them since the summer since I went to see them live in Nottingham.
Although it was considered by many to be a "flop" I actually enjoyed Around The Sun:reject:
