I'm trying to put together a cd of instrumentals, & need some more to fill it in, tracks I have at present include V2-Schnieder, Speed Of Life, & New Career... by Bowie, I nearly married an alien, by Numan, 69 police, D. Holmes, Assault On precinct 13 from the original '70's film, & am looking for more of a similar nature, not so ambient, more upbeat, I'd be grateful for any idea's, thanks in advance.

The instrumental version of Maarja's Could You is well worth a listen.

Problem is, I can't find it anywhere.

Well, I'd first recommend that you remove "V-2 Schneider," a vocal track, from your instrumental CD...

Apart from that, you'd do well to rape/pillage the first Broken Social Scene album, Feel Good Lost, for whatever treasures it may hold.

Other winners include M83, Isolee, and, if you're willing to forgoe your embargo on super-ambient jazz, the most beautiful song ever recorded--"An Ending (Ascent)," by Eno and Co..

That new Battles album has some faster, harder stuff. Give it a go and then use it as a springboard into the peripherally-related IDM scene. It'll do you good, I tell you.
