it's always hotter than hell in the main studio here. i'll switch places with you...i'm wearing a tshirt and getting up frequently to avoid swamp-ass.
It was cold where I was. Cold and damp. And raining. The snowbank behind my store might melt in June at this rate.

I am reading a Pink Floyd thread in B&C and listening to Shine On You Crazy Diamond and now I want to run downstairs and steal all my dad's Pink Floyd CD's. Jim has Dark Side of the Moon...I have [my dad's] The Wall...

Must rip them onto iTunes...

i still do not like pink floyd. i own "piper at the gates of dawn" and like about half the songs on it....i tried, i respect them for the music, i just don't enjoy listening to it.

it's ridiculously warm in my room. methinks the roommie (who's not here for once, thank god) was playing with the heater

room to yourself

You know, if all the damn 400% mark-up ticket brokers in the world didn't have tickets to Boston 5/28, I would. The cheapest I've seen a GA for that show is $350. :notbitter:

350???

jesus christ.

some livejournal friend of mine managed to get GA tix for the 24th. he said he would have gone to a broker if he hadn't gotten tix. he's a nutcase. he's the only other person i know of, though, who likes u2 and hardcore.

ooooooh look how much the warped tour will suck this year!!!

no, i don't even think you could pay me to see this shit:

Mainstage:
Atreyu
Avenged Sevenfold
Billy Talent
Fall Out Boy
Jimmy Eat World
Matchbook Romance
Mest
Midtown
Millencolin
MxPx
My Chemical Romance
No Use for a Name
Offspring, The
Silverstein
Something Corporate
Starting Line, The
Strike Anywhere
Strung Out
Thrice
Transplants, The

Side Stage(s):
Academy Is..., The
All American Rejects
Amber Pacific
Bedouin Soundclash
Boys Night Out
Dropkick Murphys
Emery
Funeral For a Friend
Gatsbys American Dream
Greeley Estates
Gym Class Heroes
Halifax
Hawthorne Heights
Hidden in Plain View
Hopesfall
Hot Rod Circuit
Kinison, The
Mae
Matches, The
Motion City Soundtrack
My American Heart
Plain White T's
Reggi and The Full Effect
Relient K
StutterFly
Thorn For Every Heart, A
Tsunami Bomb
Unseen, The
Yesterdays Rising
Zao

seeing as the 1 good band
(in bold ) is only playing a retarded side-stage (WTF? they've been headlining the main stage for a while...fucking EMO kids), and living in new england there's no shortage of DKM shows....

the transplants are ok, but tix to this fiasco are too much for just seeing those 2 bands. plus DKM will draw a huge crowd no matter what stage they play on in boston, and being the nerd i am, i'll need to be up in the front...so i'd have to survive a bunch of shitty bands first

no fucking way.

to be honest, i've never heard of half those bands...

but "Gym Class Heroes" can't be anything other than emo...

oh, tsnumi bomb are alright...but their more recent stuff is weak and really emo.

strike anywhere are decent.

but there's still only one band that i really like playing. the regular line-up last year (as opposed to the 10th anniversary shiow that i went to) was much much better than this.
