It wouldn't surprise me in the least if Laz is Lance's Mom and just set up his own joke... and then applauded it

In 2011 my project was to listen to all my CDs.

In 2012, my project is to listen to all the songs on my iPod, in alphabetical order. (Current total = 7,635)

It won't take as long as the CD project, and is a good opportunity to weed out some of the riff-raff from the 'pod.

I can't tell if I am excited for or am dreading the day when I find out just how many versions of Where the Streets Have No Name I have on this thing.

Mine is to live the way RYLA taught me to live. (that's that leadership camp I went on for a week about a month back. Wasn't it great when I disappeared for a whole week?!!)

Mine is to continuously lie about the progress of my new album, and then keep delaying its completion/release until my fans' spirits are completely crushed.

Oh wait, that's Boner's resolution.

Hi everyone, hope you all had enjoyable holidays, if you celebrate holidays. If you don't, I hope you had a nice regular December.

I acquired some iTunes gift cards from my sister, various EPs will soon be downloaded.

EDIT: Interference likey to make double posty.

I have no idea why I wrote it like that.

I've become obsessed with buy things off ebay.... I've got an obsessive personality. This isn't good

My total is almost the same: 7,682

I just deleted a bunch of stuff that was annoying me. I was over the 8,000 mark at one point.

One of my non-music related goals in 2011 was finally accomplished today: I got the last of the mercury amalgams out of my mouth. That was one expensive and unpleasant process spanning a few years.

So the 2012 goal must be chelation therapy to get the mercury out of my brain now. Maybe I'll start this weekend.

I have never ordered anything from ebay.

I got an iTunes gift card as well, but I am having a bit of trouble deciding what to do with it, as I almost always buy my music in physical formats.

I get a lot of EP's, b-sides, and singles digitally, as physical versions are usually hard to come by and overpriced.

Just downloaded the 2011 Kurt Vile and Burial EP's (So Outta Reach and Street Halo) I'd been meaning to pick up for months.

For mofo & cori (and anyone else with a recommendation): what were those headphones you guys bought and love?

...Burial EP's (So Outta Reach and Street Halo)

Street Halo is quality. If you like Burial, you might consider Andy Stott - he has an excellent dub-step/electronica/whatever-you-want-to-call-it release this year called "Passed Me By."

Grado Labs | Headphones

SR60's and SR80's have both won a boatload of awards, and are relatively cheap. I've had the 60's for 4 or 5 years, and love them. '80's supposedly have more bass than the '60's, if you're into that sort of thing. They're the type of headphones you likely will only want to use at home, as they're handmade (aka ugly), and also "open", so you'll be giving off some sound from the headphones if you try to use them at work.

They have a number of other types more expensive, that are all good as well. One of my friends has the 125's or 225's, I can never remember which, and they're awesome.

Thanks. A friend is telling me I gotta get Audio-Technica but then I remembered these. How do they wear on the ears after a few hours?

Some people think they're uncomfortable, but sometimes I think they're just scared to adjust them. You can adjust each ear piece in regards to the band that goes over your head, and you can also just grab the band and bend it if you'd like it to fit differently. I've never had a problem with the fit personally.

I've got the 225s, which are indeed awesome, and comfortable enough although they do tend to get annoying if I wear my glasses with them. I actually haven't listened to them in a long time... might have to break them out soon.

For a great all-rounder that's also super comfy, I like my Sennheiser HD-595. Not quite as impactful and rocking as the Grados, but still really nice, great detail and I can wear them all day long.

I have two set of headphones, Audio-Technica ATH-M40fs and Sennheiser HD 380 Pro. Both are considered "studio" headphones with a very flat frequency response. The Sennheisers are more accurate, but the Audio-Technicas are more comfortable and sound great for the price.

I actually end up using the Audio-Technicas more often because they're more comfortable if you're listening to an entire album or two.

Thanks, guys. I had some beloved Sennheisers that I loved to death for years until an earpad finally crumbled into dust. I searched online everywhere for a replacement but they seem to be discontinued. I'm kinda leaning towards the Audio-Technicas because they just look comfortable. I wish I could walk into a store and actually try them all out for sound and comfort. I guess I can at least try my friend's Audio-Technicas next time I'm over there.

Why were several busloads of UCLA athletes escorted through downtown San Francisco this afternoon?
Cos they're hot?

I was going to give some kind of snarky reponse about how that would be just swell if I lived in an actual city where that was possible but lo & behold there is one in a nearby city. Who knew. I can check out the ukulele's, too. Thanks, DB!
