Random Music Talk CXXIV: Axver's All Out of Ideas

So I’m at a work party with an open bar and a drunk girl just gave me a cigarette under the condition that I would sing Defying Gravity with her. I will never understand why drunk IWB insists on singing the most lyrically complicated songs I know, but I want you all to know that I kill My Shot from Hamilton, regardless of alcohol consumption.

Take out mountain, replace it with pie, and move it after honey, and you've got the worst song ever.

Remove "wild" and you've got another awful song.

Paul wrote more good Beatles songs than John.

George wrote more good Beatles songs than John.

I’m taking the Javert part of the confrontation though, because that way when it becomes painfully obvious I’m terrible at singing (which will happen immediately) I can point to the Russell Crowe version like “was it really that much worse than this?”

Paul was the most instrumentally talented Beatle and has more good post-Beatles albums than John or George. Hell, maybe both combined.

The idea of Steve Miller Band being the worst band ever is ridiculous to me because I don't even think they're the worst of the classic rock staple bands. I'd take them over BTO.

Plus, their early psychedelic stuff with Boz Scaggs is actually good. I've always found this track incredibly cool and haunting:

this is by far the single dumbest post you've ever written, which would be kind of impressive if it wasn't so ridiculous.
