This is getting absurd. Why are you allowing them to be the way they are, Australia?

After a couple of Fosters (the national drink), most Aussies think that roo looks pretty good.

Random Music Talk CXXII: 2018 It Is

I have terrible luck.

A week before my daughter was born 2.5 years ago, I had 3 bulging discs and a couple strains in my back and spent time in the hospital. I couldn’t pick her up or care for her for the first 2-3 months of her life (heck I could barely stand or walk).

Today, a week after my son was born, I’ve been diagnosed with pneumonia. Which means I cannot pick up or care for him for at least a few days, but more likely a week (or more) to be safe. My poor wife! I feel worse for her than my body does with this infection. I’m glad I’ve been at least wearing a medical mask for a couple days.

It sucks not being able to help or enjoy my time off of work with my family in either of these instances.

I heard the Elton John song "Daniel" on the radio the other day and realized how much I like it. It was always one of his singles that I never totally cared for. Now I'm a fan.

Congratulate me.

When I was buying my Protomartyr ticket this morning, I remembered to use one of my many, many settlement vouchers. I saved two dollars and twenty-five cents off my ticket.

Going to see The Chameleons tonight. I'm very, very excited. Never expected to see them live.

(I know Mark Burgess normally plays as ChameleonsVox, but this has only been promoted as The Chameleons. Not sure what the deal is there.)

Saw the xx at the bowl and got absolutely drenched. I'm happy to be on a warm train right now.

Every time I've bought something from TM since the whopping settlement, I remember after the fact about the stupid $2.25 vouchers. Ticketmaster is the epitome of suck.

I feel like seeing the xx in the rain would be a very cool scenario, besides the whole “being-in-the-rain” part.

Usually ticket buying is a race against time, so you don't have time to think about it. I was scrolling down the page to finalize the ticket, and I saw the box that said "voucher code." The little, tiny light bulb in my head glowed feebly, so I took the time to look in my TM account and copy and paste the code. Nobody was rushing to buy the ticket for this band, so I had the time.

I just now heard the new Childish Gambino. It’s so different.

How was it?! I was half tempted

Always adored Up the Down Escalator. Only listened to the album once but never persevered. Should have
