 Hopefully people will realize the Ramones had more songs than "I Wanna Be Sedated" (Nothing against that song, akorse). I've already heard Yorn's "I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend" and Eddie VEdder doing "I Believe in Miracles," and I just listened to U2 doing "Beat on the Brat" on U2.guatemala.com  I really like hearing how bands make another's song their own.

I am very much looking forward to this album. It's crazy how bands finally get the respect they deserve once a member or members pass away.

it would be nice to see a few "real" punk bands doing those covers... kiss and mary manson??

Punk was over in 1980? Anyone heard of an album called Nevermind by a band called Nirvana?

What the hell is punk anyway? One can argue Nirvana wasn't punk, because Nirvana did the whole MTV thing and all that, not very punk to me. I don't think the Clash were punk either - jeans commercials aren't very punk. Neither were the Sex Pistols, a manufactured pop group if there ever was one. What tied these groups together were their excellent music (for two of them at least, never really liked the Pistols), the Clash being one of my favourite bands ever. That said,

I'm looking forward to the Ramones tribute album. I was disappointed with U2's cover, to be honest, and I haven't heard Yorn's, but the Ramones are f**king great, punk or not.

Finally!!

Damn, this has taken a while. Seems like I've been waiting for it forever!!!

AWESOME!!!!!!!!
