Great choice of opener and closer as well. It's exactly what I wanted from the start. Videotape will be a great closer.

The news of a hard copy album is sweet, but would only be truly worth it if it had both discs worth of material.

I'll download the album and buy the CD when it comes out, but it will suck if there isn't any other way to get the bonus songs on CD other than the discbox.

I agree with you there, Lance. You can't have everything all of the time. A plain hard copy is just fine with me. You can wait until next year if you want the CD to be worth your while.

01 15 STEP - Totally badass opener
02 BODYSNATCHERS - One of the best rockers they've ever done
03 NUDE - Achingly beautiful, this song is legendary
04 WEIRD FISHES/ARPEGGI - Far and away my favorite of the new stuff, I hope they blend the Ether version and the Tour version
05 ALL I NEED - Damn good song, with great album positioning
06 FAUST ARP - As long as it's anything other than Spooks I'm a happy Panda
07 RECKONER - Crazy song, can't wait to hear a studio version
08 HOUSE OF CARDS - A virtual masterpiece, if they can nail the arrangment in the studio
09 JIGSAW FALLING INTO PLACE - Open Pick = pwnage
10 VIDEOTAPE - One of the most beautiful songs Thom's ever written, though like I said I'm hoping for a non-crescendo style coda.

So yeah. In all liklihood one of their best albums to date should all the tracks live up to their potential.

They will likely pop up on Singles or as a digital download some time next year.

Right on. It'll smear HTTT all over the sidewalk, and probably make my top 5 for 2007.
