"A Punch Up at a Wedding" is obviously one of the album's better tracks, especially for its brilliant extended metaphor on American foreign policy, but "Backdrifts" must be saved.

Go To Sleep, I'll give you, is an acquired taste but Where I End? Really? Next to There There, it's the next strongest track on the album imo...

Likewise. I feel like this is the most divisive album yet. It's especially that way for me, as the seemingly maligned Backdrifts is one of my favorite tracks on the album.

I would go as far as to say that, song-for-song, this is RH's most divisive record.

I say song-for-song because I think that Kid A and Amnesiac are more divisive when you're thinking about albums as singular pieces of work. You either appreciate Kid A or you don't. With HTTT, the debate isn't about the concept or the atmosphere or the mindset of the record, it's simply about 'this song rules, no actually it sucks, THAT song rules, etc'.
