also I really think you should all support the notion of Radiohead doing an iPod ad. think about it: at least half of the fanbase will commit suicide. Suddenly, it won't be such a hassle to get tickets!

To me, and with the exception of Pyramid Song and I Might Be Wrong and Pulk/Pull, Amnesiac just seems like a collection of Kid A rejects.....which makes the exclusion of Fog, Kinetic, Cuttooth and Worrywort all the more baffling, considering they couldn't even make the cut (or fit into) Amnesiac.

I also noticed the Radiohead chat-a-thon.

Part of me really wishes there were a few more up-tempo tracks through the middle of the album...but the other part thinks, who am I to think that? Nothing like debating with yourself! It's a dark and beautiful album as it is. Reckoner is getting better all the time, as is House of Cards.

I can't get enough of "All I Need," "Reckoner," and "House of Cards." "15 Step" is getting more play, too. I'm still upset "Videotape" isn't just piano. I don't like the extra effects.

I prize consistency in albums. If an album has a chunk of brilliance and a load of crap (*cough* Amnesiac *cough*), I might as well just make a playlist with those songs instead of bothering with the record. ALL of In Rainbows is good, if not great, so it ranks high for me.

From what I've read here about AtEase, that might not be a bad thing.

Also, can someone tell me what Lift is? I didn't see that on the Radiohead b-sides collection I downloaded (and hope to review soon).

And don't tell me it's another Thom solo track!

No way, man. You're just waaaaaaaaay overrating Amnesiac and HTTT. No way does Amnesiac have 8 truly fantastic songs on it. It barely has 8 actual songs.
