House of Cards has grown on me as well, but not as drastically as All I Need, which I am now suspecting to be the finest song on the album. That may only be, however, because it reflects a current scenario in my life rather hauntingly.

Also, if any song is filler on the album, it's not HOC but Faust Arp. I mean, it's a great song, but nothing that they or anyone else ain't done a thousand times before. Acoustic picking, strings, pretty vocals... it's a merely good song on an album full of extraordinary ones. And for the same reasons and to a lesser extent, so is Reckoner.

Me, I'd kill FA and bring in a fleshed-out version of Bangers and Mash. Then I wouldn't be so damn disappointed every time All I Need ends.
