R.I.P. Robert Urich

Cancer has claimed another celebrity victim.
Actor Robert Urich passed away yesterday at 55.
I had a "brush with greatness" with Urich in 1987, when he crossed the street in front of my truck while filming Spenser For Hire.

AW-thanks for posting this. I was going to yesterday, but I didn't know how many people would know him.You're so lucky you saw him up close.

I had a HUGE crush on him when he was on Spenser-he lived in Andover. I loved that show. Seemed like such a sweet man.

My sister and I used to watch Vega$ reruns religiously. (spenser too sometimes)
He was a good actor and, by all accounts, a very down-to-earth guy.
It's sad to think he's passed on.
