Now now, REM are better than that! There's more to REM than just Out of Time & Automatic!

Like older REM more than newer REM, and any buzz of new Radiohead always peaks my interest.

And there is that awful video for Shiny Happy People....

And there's Radiohead past 3 records.

All 3 are pretty much utter garbage.

As are REMs last 3.

But REM have Murmer, Reckoning, Life's Rich Pageant, Document, Green, Out Of Time, Automatic For The People, New Adventures.

Radiohead have the Bends and OK.

It's not a fair comparison.

Radiohead have ALOT to prove before they can even be mentioned in the same breath with REM.

this is a stupid debate.

it's not a debate, though, so that's not true either.

both bands are great, and it's as simple as that.

i'm not disagreeing with anything you have to say about rem.

but please don't ever complain about anyone voicing their opinion as fact

when you do so shamelessly. it's almost laughable.
respectable
but still
holier than thou anyone?

only i can do that and get away with it

I enjoy The Eraser more than The Bends, Amnesiac and Hail To The Thief....haven't heard Pablo Honey cause I don't want to

Cymbal Rush, The Clock and Harrowdown Hilll....oh wow.

I personally can't separate REM and Radiohead si I'm not gonna commit myself

REM. It's true that they've seen better days, but when they were in their prime, they were absolutely brilliant. Radiohead is very good, I just don't like them as much.

Radiohead is more interesting to me now but yeah, I don't think they can be compared. One has been around since 1980 and the other one started in 1993. How can you compare them?

REM
Life's Rich Pageant
Document
Out Of Time
Automatic...
Monster
New Adventures
Up

RADIOHEAD
The Bends
OK Computer
Kid A
Amnesiac
Hail To The Thief
The Eraser

Not to mention songs like Driver 8, Perfect Circle, World Leader Pretend, Bad Day, Stop Whispering, Cuttooth, Lift...

REM is better - they're much more accessable and to me, more organic.
