R.E.M!! R.E.M!!

Well, growing up in this tiny little sheltered suburban village, no one here ever listened to rock music (it's all ginos here, so we only have beats). It's a miracle I discovered U2.

Anyway, I've never really listend to REM before. They're sort of before my time, and like I said, no one here ever listened to them and could tell me about them.

What are their best songs? I want to download some stuff, but I don't know where to start...

Some good REM songs:

Losing my Religion
EveryBody Hurts
Happy People

I cant think of anymore off the top of my head but those are a good place to start.

Brettig! Nice choices! a lot of my favourites in there!

I recommend (keep in mind that I like the new stuff much more than most people):

I've Been High (one of the most B-U-T-ful songs ever written)
I'll Take The Rain
Beat A Drum
At My Most Beautiful
Find The River
E-Bow The Letter
Be Mine
Electrolite (it's just got this happy and at the same time wistful kinda groove that reminds me totally of love)
