I love this song and always forget about it when I'm thinking of 80s stuff.

A-Ha - Take On Me

The song is an absolute classic, even if it is very 80s pop-ish.

The video is also one of THE great videos from an era when music videos were an artform and were still being innovated. The live action-into-sketches-and-back-again thing works as well today as it did back then.

If it weren't for Thriller, I'd say that Take On Me was the best video of the 80s.

Total Eclipse of the Heart - Bonnie Tyler.

Every 80s video cliche crammed into one clip. Oh and THE most overblown song as well
