quick question for you melon

hey melon, you seem like a guy who might know where to find what i'm looking for. any help would be appreciated.
i'm looking for a resource with up to date info on the penetration of telecomm networks into african and asian regions.
stats on internet availability, teledensities, wireless availability and such and such.
if you know of any such resource it would be a great help. i've done extensive searches but have been unable to find anything so far and my uni. stats department seems useless in this department.
