I mean, I drink it and I have no idea what it is.

Was there every any advertising campaign behind it? Is it just more caffiene or what?

It is basically Mr. Pibb (basically Coca-Cola's version of Dr. Pepper), but with a boost of flavor syrup, thus making it "Pibb Extra."

Yeah, I'm not sure why they introduced it; it's not like it has some special fruit flavor like the new Dr. Pepper drink. Honestly, I don't notice much difference between Mr. Pibb & PibbXtra.

I don't notice a difference either but, for some reason, given the choice between the two I go with Pibb Xtra. I think its a self-esteem issue.
