QUEEN and Ben Elton..a rock opera?

I just caught the tail end of a recent Ben Elton interview. He said he has been working with Brian May and Roger Taylor, writing a script surrounding Queen songs. A tale about the music industry. Sounds fascinating and full of potential. I know no more about it unfortunately. It will perhaps be years till it gets to Oz(hope they make a video...VHS!). But anyway good if somewhat vague, news imho.

So long, and thanks for all the fish.

Cass- I caught Ben Elton on the panel the other night and heard him talk about the Queen production and if I Can remember correctly he was saying how he always saw Queen's music as being very theatrical, anyway I would think that it is sure to be good- whatever he turns his hand at is usually quite good- he is one funny guy and btw Cass that great band of mine who I love heaps- The Bluehouse are playing at the Great Northern in Byron in early December, I can not reccomend them enough- to use those imortal words of Molly- do yourself a favour and check em out!!!!- they are truly sensational
