I need more practice though. There were a little too dough-y / thick and I need to use more cheese.
The hardest part is making the dough just right.

I just decided that when I come to visit you in June, you are going to make me pupusas, special dyip and those purple lemon drop thingys we had at BJ's

:hyper:

Sicy~ they look YUMMY!

:hmm:
I think I 'm more familiar with the arepas... as a term for that type of food. I'm sure I've read the pupusas maybe once or twice vs say at least 15 times or so in various articles on various local ethnic foodes here in nyc. :D

I had to google that one! They look almost the same. But they dont stuff them? Or do they?

YEP

One tipical stuff is chicken and avocados, it is called "reina pepiada"

other stuff is black beans and cheese, this is called domino

if pupusas are almost the same as arepas, IF YOU FRY THEM they will probably taste better

Don´t hate me

Pupusas look yummy  Okay I'm all hungry now

So it is a traditional Latin-American dish then, no? Do they taste like gorditas? Wonder if they have them at the Mexican restaurant nearby here :hmm:
