I know someone who died this past weekend because they were driving drunk (I didn't know him personally, but I knew him through someone...but that's not the point)

not to bring this post down, but don't do it folks, it's just not worth it

Sorry to hear about that popkid. Just for the first time a couple of weeks ago I visited the grave of a friend of mine that was a victim of a DWI. He was the first friend of mine that this had ever happened to and I hope the last. He was 21 when he died, on New Years' 2001.

It was a cold windy day when I went out there but it felt about 100 degrees colder while I was standing there looking at his picture. Like me...he was a drummer. I laid a stick on his grave, next to the one set there by his family presumably...a pair for eternity I imagine.
