Programs that make animated gifs

Hello All!

As the thread says, whats some good easy programs to make animated gifs on....I'd like to make something like the Zoo TV one I've seen (with all the words of Zoo TV coming, you know Bloody Kids, BeLIEve and so on)

Easy GIF Animator is a good one and a basic one, meaning it's easy to use but still rather complete I use that one

oooh i have jasc but everytime i try to do a gif it tells me i cannot use video files (avi file from when i filmed a few clips at chicago 1)

please could anyone PM me to give me an idea of where im going wrong/what i need to do
