Got our tickets for Pretenders when they play in Minneapolis. Should be good. They're playing at the Historic State Theater which only seats about 2,200 people.

Anyone else seeing them anywhere?

Actually, it was Mary J. Blige, not Eve. And I understand Mary being on there...she just kicks ass. But Brittney and Shakira?? I wrote to them and bitched, but of course they didn't print it. I don't think they even mentioned Chrissie in that issue--fuckwads!

but I often put on "the last of the independents" CD and I have one live concert on cassette. Great band, ahh but chrissie, her vocals, her style...I love her....
