I'm hosting a listening party in Chicago for the new REM album "Around the Sun" Sept 29th. The new album comes out Oct 5. Here are the details if anyone is interested.

I'm working on getting XRT involved to see if they might be interested in donating some giveaways.

Wednesday Sept 29 from 7-10pm
-No cover
-causual
-21+ (if you are under 21 contact me and we'll work a way out for you to get in)

I've listened to Around The Sun via the stream, and it's really, really good.

This party is going to be fun and if you're an R.E.M. fan you really must go. There's hardly any R.E.M. get-togethers in Chicago, if any.
