Released today.

Made the week between his diagnosis with a brain aneurism and the operation.

Haunting. Beautiful. Sad. Acoustic.

Maybe not his best but in the same vein as Harvest and Harvest Moon.

PERFECT LISTENING FOR THE FALL.

I plan to make a mix out of it and Devils and Dust. Should be great for this time of year.

The guitar did get a little old at the end but there is some great stuff interspersed.

Highlights: No Wonder, The Painter, Falling of the Face of the World, He was the King.

Interesting stuff. Coherent but I am not sure of the song strength alone.

I recomend it at this point but let me get back to you.

Loved The Painter and This Old Guitar. No Wonder. Not too fond yet of When God Made Me.

I liked about half of it, the other half was just okay. I liked When God Made Me ... although I can't say why. Also like This Old Guitar.

after seeing When God Made Me at live8, it's hard not to like it. pretty grand imo.

the whole album's pretty good, i think. I"m no neil young expert, though.

I need to get this but I've been lacking on the cd purchases since the beginning of summer since I'm poor.

Anybody see the Stills performance on Jay Leno "Round the Bend" from his new album. I enjoyed the performance. Nice to his solo stuff again. The song's about him and Neil Young.
Loved the line "Hard as Canadian black ice...All over you, makin' you think twice."
