My favourite is without a doubt Silent Alarm by Bloc Party. 14 tracks and not one of them is really weak. So Here We Are, Pioneers, Like Eating Glass, This Modern Love, Luno, Compliments, Banquet... some of my favourite songs

My second favourite would have to be Interpol's Turn On the Bright Lights. love, love, love it. which, I think Interpol is coming out with a new album this year...

Hot Fuss is also very, very good. i may enjoy that one more than Funeral as well. Hot Fuss is more fun though, while Funeral feels more...important.

Franz Ferdinand and Is This It are good, but perhaps slightly overrated as well.
Turn on the Bright Lights, Silent Alarm, and Funeral are reals albums.

Franz Ferdinand, Hot Fuss, and Is This It are collections of singles.

I think if you judge them that way, it does more justice to the album themselves.

Don't Look Back In Anger?

I can name about 8 other songs on Morning Glory that are better than that one. Even Noel hates it.

I would have liked Sam's Town better if Brandon Flowers hadn't forgotten how to sing. He couldn't hit a note to save his life. They must have forgotten to turn the pitch corrector on.

I don't get 'Hot Fuss'. I mean, some of the songs are enjoyable enough every now and then but I don't understand why people say it's such a great record. I shutter to think the Killers are compared to U2. I don't like the singer's voice much, and I just don't find the music very interesting.

I think 'Parachutes' was a far better debut. It was Coldplay before they let it all go to their head.

Seriously! He sings so beautifully on Hot Fuss on songs like Smile Like You Mean It whereas on Sam's Town he's shouting like a melodramatic fool.

Also, there are three good songs on Sam's Town. Really. And I'm pissed because I actually BOUGHT the album.

one of my all time favorite artists, it's a shame his most famous album is one of his worst. honestly, i can't listen to it without wanting to jam a sharp object into my eye.

Finding something overrated does not mean someone does not like it.

I own a lot of the stuff by the bands I think are overrated. I just don't think it's as great as the hype makes it out to be.

Parachutes is a really beautiful album but certain things about Chris Martin's singing bug me... like the odd falsetto when he sings "they're just spies..."
