The funny part is when runner's trainer/mentor came over and helped him to the end. Everytime someone else came over he waved them off. Like don't those idiots get that he's helping the runner to the finish line.
 
That's actually Derek Redmond's dad helping him around the track.

Of course, if this were to happen today, Mr. Redmond probably would have been shot dead by a team of Interpol agents the second he set foot on the track.
