But I really am curious:
What do/did you call your grandparents to keep them straight?
My dad's dad died before I was born, so that wasn't really an issue; we just called my mom's dad "Grandpa".
My mom's mom is "Nonnie" (not sure how that came about), and my mom's grandma we called Netta (probably derived from her name Annette). My dad's mom is just Grandma.
It seems to have been decided already that my future kids will call my mom 'Nana' - my mom likes that and so my nephew has a Nana and a Grandma.
What other variations have you called your grandparents?
