Polyphonic Spree -- great live, 'meh' on disc

I can't really get into The Polyphonic Spree's albums, but they're pretty impressive live. I'd never heard of them until I saw them at a free show they did during their last tour. Once you get over the sugar-coated lyrics and Richard Simmons antics of Tim DeLaughter, their live show is quite an "experience." I'll be catching them when they come to DC at the end of June to see if the same impact occurs a second time around. Anyone else ever seen them live?
