#1 is contentment in Japanese. I've never seen #2 in Japanese, but that means nothing since you're asking for the Chinese version. It also means nothing because I'm not native Japanese and probably dont know many, many words/kanji.

#1 is pronounced as "manzoku" in Japanese.

i want to take it to a tattoo parlor and see if they think its do-able.

hm... i put three different version of 'contentment' up(different font style). maybe you can select the one that you think is more good-looking... I personally like number 3
