you know....even if you have never done any kind of drugs, you'll still know what come down music is. The Chemical Brothers seem obsessed with getting at least one or two on their recent albums (i.e. Pioneer Skies)
I find it an agreeable style of music though...it makes me introspective and comptemplative, I suppose. Of Course, it spans many genres and doesn't necessarily have to be electronic.
1. Maximo Park - Acrobat
2. M83 - Gone (damn, the scream at 3:00 makes me shiver)
3. Schneider TM - Reality Check *
4. Solvent - My Radio *
5. Vitalic - The Past
6. Air - Run
7. Ryan Adams - Damn Sam (I love a woman that rains)
8. Calexico - Woven Birds (so hushed and quiet)
9. Radiohead - How I Made my Millions
10. U2 - Stateless
11. Slowdive - Blue Skied an' Clear
12. Grandaddy - Underneath the Weeping Willow
13. Mogwai - Golden Porsche
14. Aarktica - Ocean
* heavily processed vocals + great melodies...trance inducing
