Australian Broadcasting Corporation... government-funded TV and radio. But they do a better job of being politically neutral than the commercial channels, as far as I can tell (except SBS, which will never be commercial at heart).

I was essentially raised on ABC TV, and back then it mostly showed BBC shows, at least at the time of day I was watching it.
The Goodies, FTW.

I am sloooooow.

Especially cos I thought Ashley was another Aussie until just now. :der:

I need to get to bed, but first I need to figure out what to listen to before I pass out. :hmm:

Porcupine Tree!

... did you really think I'd suggest anything else?

Meanwhile, I still haven't made dinner.

Ha, the idea of a hyper-commercialised SBS seems hilarious. "Big Brother: Big Mouth ... NOW IN TWENTY DIFFERENT LANGUAGES!"

I'm glad The Chaser have stated that they would never go to a commercial network. Not being tied to the demands of sponsors is never a bad thing. Now I just wish The War On Everything would come back!

:lmao: I am the FARTHEST thing from Aussie

I just never sleep

Aha. How's that working out for you?

And just out of curiosity, has anyone actually figured out which spot on the earth is exactly on the opposite side of the planet to Australia? I'm thinking it's somewhere in the North Atlantic... Iceland?

No, no I didn't. Sadly, I don't have any in an audio CD format, and I'm too lazy to burn one now.

Any other suggestions?

Go and eat, you silly person. Just check for mould first.

Did you ever sort out that stage show thing?

Not sleeping hasn't been so good these days, but I've been sick.

I can't go to sleep cause I'm scared I won't wake up in time to go get this scholarship from the Sheriff's department. But I probably will nod off pretty soon here and sleep for an hour.

The Unforgettable Fire!

:madspit: I won't be using any bloody cheese tonight! I've only just started to get a little hungry, really, after eating lunch at 6pm.

Jen  Haven't seen you in ages!!!! how are ya?

 Cheese... I'm buying some Port Salut today, it rules being home alone for three weeks.. I can eat whatever I want...

:lmao: pizza once a week, soup once a week (oh yea, so cheap that I can eat fancy the rest of the week!) and the rest will be made on the barbecue!

I suspected I was too slow for that too

Ah well. There's always next Comedy Festival.

Ha, yeah. I was thinking I should go to some stuff at the Comedy Festival this year ... but then I sat on my arse and did nothing about that as well. Go me. :|
