i'm a man who can admit when he's wrong, and i was dead wrong... the lakers have always worried me. they obviously hvae amazing talent, but they're so damn dysfunctional that they were capable of falling apart at any moment. the pistons played with a sense of urgency from the opening tap of game 1, and it proved in the outcome. the lakers are pathetic, the pistons are true deserving champions.

I am so happy the Lakers didn't win. They grabbed up all those good players thinking they could get a monopoly and win every year and I'm glad to see it didn't work this time. When the same team wins all the time it's very boring, and if there's no hope anyone will beat them then why watch? This is a good thing for the NBA.

As a Celtics fan, seeing the LAkers lose in truly embarassing fashion has its own reward. I must give a lot of credit to the Pissed-ons, didn't think they had a shot, as most experts thought, but that Laker circus just couldn't stay on the high wire long enough to win the title.
Man if Rick Pitino wasn't such a jackass, finals MVP Chauncey Billups would still be a Celtic.

Just got back from the Pistons Victory Parade! I brought my digital camera, so the pictures are up here sooner than I thought they'd be.

We got there early and got excellent seats. What an amazing opportunity.
