Ooh, if nobody else votes, we'll have another three-way tie. And if some smart soul votes HDOOL, we'll get a four-way elimination! That'd be nice.

Is There Anybody Out There? is terrific, part of why side two is much better. Great solo as well.

It's five words long and has a simple acoustic piece to it. It's certainly good, but I wouldn't go as far as saying it's better than anything else remaining here.

Although I agree a three or four way tie would move this along nicely.

However that song cracks me up, because I can never understand what that guy (Waters?!) is screaming in the background throughout the song. lol.

^ Nooo :scream: If you vote for One Of My Turns, we won't have a triple elimination!

Yeah... long ago, but I don't remember. :shifty: But see I'm not talking about the "waiting... to cut out the deadwood... waiting..." parts! I'm talking about the unintelligible babbling before that part starts. It shows up again later on before the song ends.

Btw, I was listening to this album yesterday and I realized again how amazing Waters' vocal performance is on this album. That thundering judge voice in the Trial is him, isn't it?

The evidence before the court is incontrovertible
There's no need for the jury to retire
In all my years of judging I have never heard before of
Someone more deserving the full penalty of the law
The way you made them suffer, your exquisite wife and mother
Fills me with the urge to defecate (go on judge, shit on him!)
Since my friend you have revealed your deepest fear
I sentence you to be exposed before your peers
Tear down the wall

What a fucking amazing finale! The Trial got eliminated too soon.

I don't even think Roger knows what he was babbling on about during those bits. If I remember correctly, the loudhailer part was recorded in one take. The only words that are half-intelligible are "outside Brixton town hall."

This is the first time in three days that I've been able to go online, so I didn't get to save Waiting For The Worms. :(
