Ideally, I'd like to vote for Sheep here, but I'm voting strategically for Pigs to save Dogs.

Dogs is unbeatable. It is much better than Pigs and Sheep, and that is a big honour, considering how good Pigs and Sheep are.

For those who are big Sheep fans, can you please explain to me what is so awesome about that it deserves to not only win this round but the competition?

Oh God :hyper: Three votes :hyper: Three votes not for Dogs :hyper:

anyone else realised it will take a MONTH to get thru The Wall?

well. maybe not. im banking on a few tied rounds.

But The Trial has to go first. Horrible, horrible, horrible, and a good example of as Axver said - the storytelling getting in the way of the music.

This was hard, but my vote went to Sheep. It has a moment or two that slightly lose my interest, and that sealed the deal. I think I want Pigs to win.

Damn, this album is incredibly good.

For Me, I think its all in the build up...and just the plain awesomeness during and especially at the end of the song.

I don't know, After seeing Roger play this song earlier this year....its been my favorite Pink Floyd song ever since.

1. The lyrics/delivery
2. The crossfading of the vocals into the synth
3. The general attitude of the song
4. The bastardisation of Psalm 23 during the vocoder bit
5. The eerie synth that plays over the aforementioned bit
6. The guitar during the outro
7. The keyboard during the intro
8. The fact that it just kicks arse

Wave upon wave of demented avengers march cheerfully out of obscurity into the dreeeeeaaaam!

Actually, that's one of the things that causes me to like Sheep slightly less than the other two. Vocoder, piss off! I want to hear the bastardisation of Psalm 23 properly!

This song may include the greatest outro of all time. Certainly the best ending to a Pink Floyd song. The Echoes version (which fades out early) doesn't do it justice.

Yes!!! Greatest Floyd outro ever after High Hopes.

Voting Pigs this round. Dogs and Sheep are too good!

Nine votes for Pigs? But ... a song insulting both Maggie Thatcher and Mary Whitehouse is for the win, not the lose!

Hmmmmm I don't know.. that Sheep outro is pretty fucking kick ass! Dogs lyrically and Sheep musically.

I had to grapple between Sheep and Pigs there. All three outros (and songs) do kick serious ass.

Imagine if a band came out today and made two albums, ten songs total, that came anything near the stratosphere WYWH and Animals sit in.

This voting is good as

But there's been no sign of Lemon or GG yet.. :shifty:

Poor Pigs.

Though on listening to the album a couple of times today, I think I now actually want Dogs, not Pigs, to win overall and proceed to the final.

This album is mindblowing in its goodness.

Yeah, all 3 are brilliant. Dogs and Sheep are just more immediate and accessible compared to the slightly plodding Pigs.
