I vote for Sorrow. I had high expectations from all the talk, and I was let down.

Terminal Frost for the win. Maybe even Learning to Fly.

I want to Sorrow's shit, but it gets better as it goes along. Way too long.

And can I take this chance to say -- How fucking good is Meddle?!?! Man I love it. One of These Days is the best instrumental I have heard (perhaps just beaten by ACYL), A Pillow of Winds is quiet but I love the way it is sung, the softness of it, Fearless is amazing, and Echoes is otherworldly. I would not have been shattered if it was only a four track album however.

Well, this should be a resounding booting off of Terminal Frost.

Anybody who doesn't like Sorrow either has 1. no taste or 2. ADHD.

Isn't it though? :combust:

It is now officialy above The Wall in my ratings. The Wall I find is just horrible to listen to unless I'm really in the mood. Especially One of My Turns --> Don't Leave Me Now. Soooo slow.

But Meddle

One of These Days - 9
A Pillow of Winds - 7
Fearless - 9
San Tropez - 6
Seamus - 3
Echoes - 9

I can't quite give Echoes ten, as good and as epic as it is, and I usually give out 10s quite easily.

1. Dark Side of the Moon
2. Wish You Were Here
3. Animals
4. Meddle
5. The Wall

Dark Side is pretty much set in stone at #1, but WYWH and Animals are incredibly close.

Meddle is so beautiful to listen to.

Fearlessly the idiot faced the crowd, smiling
Merciless the magistrate turns round, frowning

As I climb the hill in my own way
Wait a while for the right day
And as you rise above the fear lines in his brow
You go down, hear the sound
Of the the things we said today

(yes, I know it's wrong).

Ahem. Terminal Frost ftw.

Learning to Fly.

Synth drums

Yup. Most of the album features synth drums, but Learning To Fly has to be the worst example. Ugh, remember how annoying the guy was who did the synth drums on Pulse? I see him in my mind every time I hear this song. That makes me hate it even more.

If Sorrow doesn't win this, I will officially lose faith in everyone who has thus far voted in this competition. By the time you get to Sorrow, it's like finding a tiny nugget of gold hidden away in a mountain of ordinary, useless rock. Yes, that pun was completely intentional.
