Can you believe we're about two weeks away from the final??

Although I wish we'd used a weighting system. That Several Species is in a final that 16 songs from Dark Side, WYWH and Animals are not, is downright disgusting.

Everyone happy with these for the B-sides/rarities round?

"Arnold Layne"
"Candy And A Currant Bun"
"See Emily Play"
"Paintbox"
"Apples And Oranges"
"Julia Dream"
"It Would Be So Nice"
"Point Me At The Sky"
"Careful With That Axe, Eugene"
"Biding My Time"
"Scream Thy Last Scream"
"Vegetable Man"
"Heart Beat, Pig Meat"
"Come In Number 51, Your Time is Up"
"The Embryo"
"What Shall We Do Now?"
"When the Tigers Broke Free"

If there's more, let me know, if there's some that should really be cut off, let me know.

WTIO

B-sides look good to me. Should be an interesting round, Julia Dream, Biding MyTime and Embryo...

I'm sure Anold Layne will win it though.

Yeah, I love the song, but now it's time for Wearing The Inside Out to go.

I think that Julia Dream is the best song on the Rarities list. For now, my vote goes to Lost for Words.

Lost For Words. Never liked it.

Also, the "I open my door to my enemies" bit is soooooooooo fucking ironic in this day and age. Like Nick Mason said, they're now the complete opposites of one another...

I couldn't disagree more. Lost For Words, along with Coming Back To Life and High Hopes, are the best three songs on this album.

I sure could think of many other songs with worse lyrics.

Marooned, because it looks like WTIO is going anyway and I don't want Liam to kill me for voting for it.

"Who buys U2 records anyway? It's just music for plumbers and bricklayers. Bono, what a slob. You'd think with all that climbing about he does, he'd look real fit and that. But he's real fat, y'know. Reminds me of a soddin' mountain goat."
"And as for Bono, he needs a colostomy bag for his mouth."

I'll do one each round from now on, just for you and me.

And by the way, that Hungarian Phrase Book sketch... what season was that in? Because I thought all the skits from ANFSCD were just re-acted scenes from season 1... but I have the box set and it didn't come up once during season one.

2nd season. They used sketches from the first 2 series I believe and this one came from the same episode as Spam, as JC's character appears again in the cafe with the vikings! I like the sketch in ANFSCD which I can't say about all of them. The Parrot sketch is def. better on the tv show as I think is the Self Defence Against Fruit!
