what are your top ten favorite songs..?

Because of your ambiguous question, people are gonna post their 10 fav songs, period, by any artist. After all, Floyd fans have other favorites too! ;)

Okay okay

1. High Hopes
2. Comfortably Numb
3. Us And Them
4. Dogs
5. Any Colour You Like
6. Matilda Mother
7. Time / Breathe (reprise)
8. Remember A Day
9. Wish You Were Here
10. Sheep

Too hard! I can't put them in order of how much I like them, but here are my favourites in order of year:

1. Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun
2. Echoes
3. Brain Damage/Eclipse
4. Shine On You Crazy Diamond (I-V)
5. Dogs
6. Sheep
7. One Of My Turns
8. In The Flesh
9. The Gunners Dream
10. The Final Cut

Edited to tack on Eclipse to Brain Damage. You can't really listen to Brain Damage without listening to Eclipse.

So, what's the deal with Roger Waters' tour? Does anyone know if he plays a lot of Floyd stuff? If he does I'm definitely going to pick up some tickets. If not, then well, meh.

If you can see Roger, go see him! This was the setlist for the European leg of the tour. Not sure if he'll make many changes for the NA leg. I'm just counting off the days until 20th September. I hope Nick Mason will be there as well! Then I can say I've seen 50% of the classic Pink Floyd lineup live.

First Set:
1. In The Flesh
2. Mother
3. Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun
4. Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Parts I-V)
5. Have A Cigar
6. Wish You Were here
7. Southampton Dock
8. The Fletcher Memorial Home
9. Perfect Sense (Parts I and II)
10. Leaving Beirut
11. Sheep

Second Set:
Entire DSOTM album

Encore:
1. The Happiest Days Of Our Lives
2. Another Brick In The Wall (Part II)
3. Vera
4. Bring The Boys Back Home
5. Comfortably Numb

High Hopes is just about the only post-Waters Pink Floyd song I like.

Live at Pompeii.

I'll wait for your package then...

High Hopes is just about the only post-Waters Pink Floyd song I like.
 Poles Apart?

Liar. I know you like Learning to Fly.

Dayum, the Waters set list. Almost makes me want to force my friend's sister to give up her ticket that she doesn't really care for so I can go see him with her dad.

That sounds complicated. I want to be my friend's sister, basically.

No Order:

Comfortably Numb
Coming Back to Life
Wish You Were Here
Run Like Hell
Young Lust
Mother
Goodbye Blue Sky
On The Turning Away
Learning To Fly
Breath/Time (sorry they both NEED to be here)

who wrote this song? people say David did.......

Roger did the lyrics, Gilmour came up with the main riff. Run Like Hell live was to die for.

I like Poles Apart. Except for the second verse.

Steal the ticket! Steal it! If all else fails, I could always send you the awesome DVD I downloaded a little while ago. The power trips out during Perfect Sense and it's hilarious. Not to mention Roger baa-ing along with the sheep loop at the beginning of Sheep.

Oh Zoooooooooots...

That's all right. I can miss Waters. If it were Gilmour...
