I'll come back and vote tomorrow when I actually have time to listen to both, but I suspect it'll be parts one to five.

"And as for Bono, he needs a colostomy bag for his mouth."

Damn, this is ridiculous. How the hell does one choose amongst these three?

SOYCD VI-IX by default.

Wish You Were Here. SOYCD I-IX is probably Pink Floyd's highest point as a band, with all members (wellllll, with the exception of Nick, who was probably too busy drooling over cars) contributing to the composition. Wish You Were Here is a brilliant song, and I know it's probably going to win this. Shine On's just better as far as I'm concerned. That eerie four note Gilmour riff... Rick's brilliant keyboard work... Roger's brilliant lyrics and vocals... the flangered interplay between the bass and guitar in part VI... the slide guitar... Rick's Syd Barrett references in part IX... I mean, it's just fucking brilliant, start to finish. There's no way anyone can convince me that WYWH is better.

This is well nigh impossible. Shine On VI-IX, I suppose.
