Just a quick note to say that this poll is open for two days as I'll be away at wedding this weekend. So vote sensibly, all of you.

Brain Damage, and it is not the third best song. And you all know it too.

And Axver - I was listening to The Wall before and I'm starting to see where you're coming from. It can be quite tedious to listen to at times. There's a lot of stop-starting, a lot of interruptions, and so on. Take a song like Don't Leave Me Now - nothing happens until 3:08 seconds in! There's a good ten decent tracks, but it has officially fallen below Meddle in my standings.

1. Dark Side
2. Wish You Were Here
3. Animals
4. Meddle
5. The Wall

Got to be Brain Damage this time. Next round will SUCK.

Glad someone can see my perspective.

I honestly can only name about 4 good songs on the album though. I feel like the music is overwhelmed by the storyline and thus the execution suffers. I get really bored by the vast majority of the material.

I can't agree when it comes to this. So many people I know say exactly the same, but I just love listening to the album as a whole. Mother, Goodbye Blue Sky, Don't Leave Me Now, Hey You, Waiting For The Worms, The Trial...Fantastic album. It's just pipped by DSOTM for me tho.

Us and Them...

Time must be the winner!

Home... home again
I like to be here when I can
When I come home cold and tired
It's good to warm my bones beside the fire
Far away across the field, the tolling of the iron bell
Calls the faithful to their knees
To hear the softly spoken magic spells
