:hyper: I just discovered springsteenradio.net. Don't know why it took me so long to find something as amazing as this

Glad to hear it! :)

I had to drop out of my painting unit today because I've missed too many lessons. I guess I feel like I was never taking it seriously, it sucks and I feel like I've let myself and other people down. My mum just called and said she's booked in tickets for me to go to Melbourne in a months time, though - so it's not all bad!

sad about the painting mate, but AWESOME about comming to melbourne!

looks like everone needs some love

if its any consolatioon, im fucked up too.
in a very manic phase, no food, no sleep and work work work like a deamon all day. yet feeling emotioanlly as fragile as an egg .

Ooh, Bonnie's definitely coming to Melbourne? :hyper:

The Maj. and I were talking today about how we totally need to make a go of Phail.

I finally got to use my 2000 wiipoint card that i've had for like a year and a half, and it was gone so quickly  but I got MarioKart

Hello again, guys.

Yeah, for real. June 23rd-26th. Think I'm staying a little south of the Yarra, not too far from the Casino apparently. And I'm going to the Eagles/Hawks game at the MCG, which will be a disaster.

Ahh, cool. You arrive the day of my last exam. Wonder how busy the Maj. is in late June!

And ha, the Hawks are Ali's team, aren't they?

Personal location question time: how far away do you live from the city/casino? I have no idea how Melbourne's laid out, I suppose the first day I'd try to get used to where the main stuff is. But seriously, I can't wait. I'm just going to be happy to get away from familiar territory.

Uh, I've got no idea, probably. But they're the top side at the moment so things could get ugly.

I'm on the northern side of the CBD in Brunswick West, but my tram route, the 55, runs straight through the CBD and goes past one side of the casino.

Lygon Street, the Queen Vic Market, and the Museum are also on the northern side of the CBD. Botanical Gardens are south side of the Yarra. Really, though, with the trams, it's piss-easy to get around - and going north to south across the CBD is quicker than going west to east, incidentally.

Hey, Bonnie, just a bit confused: the 23rd to the 26th is Monday to Thursday. Are the Eagles and Hawks playing midweek or something?

Oh, that's right. My mum and dad are coming over on the 27th, then we go to the footy. I was only including the 23rd-26th because that's when I'll have the most spare time.

 check this new smiley shit out !

Oh yeah, I like that one!

I even made a version for phpBB forums recently:

Ahh, gotcha. I was thinking four days was a pretty short trip.

Well, apart from the afternoon of the 23rd, I'm free for that entire period.

Excellent. Will there be some Interland gathering for tea and drinks for at least one night, then? Where is that Greek place you guys were thinking of?

Right, I think I remember where the Museum is so I have a faint image of what you're talking about. I'll put my faith in the trams for the trip, I reckon.

Damn well better be! I believe the place the Maj. had in mind is on Lygon Street. Hopefully this is far enough in advance that he can make at least plan for one evening to be free.

QUICK arrange something now before the church finds out and adds another religious fucking holiday .

Lygon Street is two blocks to the west of the Museum. The Carlton Gardens, which the Museum and Royal Exhibition Building are in, stretch down to the northeastern tip of the CBD.

If you are within walking distance of a Swanston Street/St Kilda Road tram route, that would be bloody convenient for you.
