I'm going to see the Grandfather of Modern Rawk in Boston 2/22.
He's playing the Orpheium, never been there myself, is it a cool place to see a gig?

The Orpheum is a great place for a show (cool is not an appropriate word since the old building has no AC, and gets unbearably hot at times, shouldn't be an issue on 2-22)
Its unfortunately not very well kept up(OK So its a bit of a dump), but its small (Seats about 2200) and the acoustics are still quite good.
Where are your seats?

Mezzanine is a great spot.
If you aren't in the front section of the Orchestra (Double lettered rows), then the Mezz is the next best spot, even better than the balance of the Orchestra.
