Or did you dislike Morleigh because you thought Ainslin was great?
Thing is, it really isn't a case with U2...

Suzie and Adam have been together for 10 years, I mean true, he was engaged to Naomi Campbell, but wasn't a very long relationship. From what I've read of Naomi, Adam was much better off not marrying her. She was recentlly arrested for throwing a phone at someone. ouch.

Suzie on the other hand, has a history with the band before dating Adam, since she was Paul M's., assistant. She was there for Adam during his "getting sober" period. She's been there for him for the past 10 years, and they probably talked and chit-chat before that when she was Paul's assisant. She seems like a very low-key, down to earth type. That's the kind of person Ali seems like, Anne (Larry's lady), and Morleigh seems very personable and nice too.

If you put a picture of Adam and Suzie on the cover of some tabloid, how many of the tabloid readers demographic, would know who who they are?

Edge and Morleigh, you might get people who would recognize him, but not Morleigh.

With Edge, I don't know if too many people, at the time he was separating, knew too much about Edge's private life nor the rest of the bands' lives aside from the brief mentions in articles. Edge seemed pretty heart-broken about what happened.

I think it's just with U2 the general public isn't that concerned with their private lives, there's not a whole lot of 'dirt' within the U2 world, nothing to fill the gossip pages, non-U2 fans probably don't know anyone else in the band except Bono...maybe Edge.

Know how many magazines I've seen with Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt on the cover, and especially after it was found out she was pregnant.

Know how many magazine covers I've seen with Adam and Suzie on the cover.......none.

I didn't see cover after cover about Edge and Morleigh back when they got married.

I suppose because Paul McCartney was a Beatle, he'll never be able to have a private life like the members of U2, but...wouldn't Heather know that going into it?

I can see, divorcing because of cheating going on, getting wasted all the time and arguing, but because of the pressure from the press?

The age difference alone was going to get more attention, if Paul married a friend he'd known from his early days but only got back in contact recently, who was closer to his age, maybe not nearly as much press.

Have a child when you're in your 60's, you're gonna be in the press, even non-celebrities occasionally get mentioned when that happens.

If Paul McCartney would rather lay low and fly under the radar of the press, he'd have to retire from the music business. Sadly, that's the way the celebrity-dom has become. Or live somewhere where the people don't seem to care too much about the lives of famous people.

Some Irish people roll their eyes at you if you ask about U2, "oh here we go" or "they're awful, listen to_______" I don't think Paul gets that in Liverpool but I could be wrong.

I don't know if I would believe a word that this woman says....sorry but from day one she's always struck me as being in it for the money and just pure trash.

Looks more like porn. Besides, the article said the book had no text.

I do feel kind of bad for Heather. After all, this stuff is nearly 20 years old. Wonder why it didn't surface before.

I don't feel bad for her at all.

It's sad that she feels the need to air their dirty laundry in public. She is continuing to tarnish herself....and it is totally driven by greed. Like she wasn't going to get 10s of millions anyway?

I feel badly for the little girl (I can't remember her name offhand...wasn't she named after a food company?) Oh yeah, Beatrice. She'll be old enough to read about all of this...and Paul probably won't be around to defend himself to her and mommy will be around for decades.

How much money does a person need to be happy, How many people would want to drag their child through what is going to be a very public, and nasty ordeal, I've read somewhere, how true it is I don't know, but Paul has offered 10 million, surely thats got to be enough, what the hell has she done to deserve anymore, has she had such a major influence on his career, has she contributed so much to a very short marriage, no, but as the law stands she'll probably get over a 100 million, which IMO is what the gold digging bitch was after all along. & when the dust has settled I wonder if she'll revert back to plain old heather mills, or if the McCartney surname will open far more doors to her in her "career," because we all know how talented she is, & how she can stand on her own 2 feet. ( no pun intended, but couldn't resist) I once saw an interview with the two of them before they married, the interviewer asked her, " Aren't you worried about being labelled a gold digger, because of the age difference,"
to which she replied, "Listen, if I was marrying someone for their money, I'd find someone a bit richer than Paul"
Fuck me, how much money is enough for the old slapper,, but looking back, if I was McCartney, alarm bells would have been ringing loud at that particular comment, but as they say Love Is Blind. & Paul, unfortunately was blind, and also, IMO a bit vulnerable after losing Linda.

Just seen Paul being interviewed, about what the future may hold, when asked if he'd ever go down on one knee again, he said I'd prefer it if you'd call her heather.

Too bad they can't get at least an amicable split/divorce.

I always thought that it was possible for someone to find love again, even after such a long marriage as Paul and Linda's was.

I think Heather never was going to have it easy since she was marrying an ex-Beatle, since his kids didn't like her and because people still remember Linda fondly.

I don't think much of Heather either. I just think the Sun photos and other stuff coming out must be really humiliating for her and Paul. Not to mention their little girl.
