What kind of highlights do you usually get at an Oscars? A big upset?

I am well pleased with most of the winners, thought Stewart was funny, and got to be silly about it online with good folks.

Works for me. :)

Good to see the Coens get their due and D-Day drink some milkshakes.

Hopefully P.T. gets his recognition someday.

Cotillard was still a surprise. Foreign language film, unknown actress, film not up for a lot of Oscars.

And Supporting Actress was totally up for grabs.

The Bourne sweep was a surprise as well.

My dad caught up with me in the Oscar Picks because of Bourne for a while, but his hatred of No Country kept him from winnin'.

"It didn't friggin' end!" is a new catchphrase in my household.

what a total snooze-fest

What were you expecting?

They're always a long, drawn-out affair. I'm surprised someone always says they're boring. They're never exciting unless everything you're rooting for wins. And even that doesn't always qualify as "exciting."

D-Day saying "my son and partner H.W." had me and the lady friend rollin'.

Yeah, pretty predictable... but i liked everyone who won. The only real exciting moment was when Marion Cotillard won. I thought she was sweet.

Even though it wasn't very exciting, it was still WAY better than that awful Grammy show this year. Now that one put me to sleep.

He was tired, sick and stressed out (personal family problems) when he made the comment.

For a second there, I thought you meant DDL was sick and stressed. I was all "How do you know?!"

It took me a second before I figured it out, and I'm glad I just didn't quote you with a

Don't feel so bad...I gave him a strange look too.

Alright, then it's okay now.

and CoriA, love the new sig. If you could somehow get Scully to lick the dancing milkshake, I think you'd be in business. Or as we say in the hood, bi'ness.

Ha! If only I had any sort of Photoshop skills.

Or even Photoshop.

I can't take credit for the .gif. Someone elsewhere made it.

Yea....and I had to tell him that Ms. Miller was/is his better half (I said wife....but I'm not sure since he's a very private man)

I'm sorry...I meant my dad. I thought DDL was very humbled in his speech and even more so afterwords when he was escorted off the stage.
