I don't dislike it. It's in the category of "songs I don't mind hearing, but wouldn't miss if they weren't around".

I enjoy hearing it live.

"And as for Bono, he needs a colostomy bag for his mouth."

yeah, i understand. i always know going into this there's going to be songs where people are like "*facepalm* why did you put this on there?!" but it works for me in the playlist.

i'm not ashamed to admit i like really teeniebopper stuff at times. but only a little. i promise i don't have bunches of backstreet boys songs sitting on my computer.

The original version is still good, and my favourite on Pop.

And those are mostly great choices there. SATS and The First Time ... I like them, but not that much.

Ah, well there you are. I'm kind of hoping for something better on the next album, but I'm not expecting it (in the way some people *cough*RobandPeterrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr*cough*) are. But like I said, if I listen to post 2000 U2, I like to think of it as a different band. Maybe I'll relable the band in my iTunes "Mearle" for that era.

I first heard it when I was nine and loved it. Didn't hear it for years and found the album in my basement about six months ago.

I don't even like the studio version of it after hearing the live version. 31 July 1997, Mannheim rules all.

IMO, U2's second most overrated song.

Small Spark's production sounds similar to Uncoffined.

Slipped the mind, despite your mention. It'd probably be number six on that list.

I've never heard a live version I liked of it. It sounds so... empty. It really suffers from the lack of second guitar when played live.
