Oprah, Dave, Dave, Oprah

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.

I understand Dave's strategy of having a "serious" interview, but that kind of underwhelmed me. I was expecting more.

She was promoting The Color Purple, which is now on Broadway.

But I don't really see why this is selfish. The reason celebrities go on shows like Letterman, Leno, Conan, etc. is to promote something, whether it's a movie, a new album, a tour, etc. Is everyone selfish then? Was U2 selfish for going on Conan to promote HTDAAB and the current tour?

That's how it works.

Yes everyone is on Letterman to promote something, or themselves

It was so sweet, I enjoyed it. I like that it was more serious rather than just being one running joke, etc. I loved the top ten and the other comparison between Dave and Oprah.

I get jealous every time he kisses a female guest's hand. I have had a crush on him forever

Oprah's dress wasn't the most flattering but she looks so beautiful that it doesn't matter.

It was kind of anti climactic. Dave kissed her ass all night. It was not as good as it was hyped up to be.
